We started TimbuckDo with a simple belief: India's students deserve a system that helps them earn, learn and grow while they study.
The journey began in 2022 when the first version of the platform was created. At that time, it was just an idea driven by the need to empower India's emerging alternative workforce. In 2024, our team strengthened when we came together as co-founders, bringing different experiences but the same conviction that the student gig ecosystem in India needed to be rebuilt from the ground up.
Since then, our journey has been about exploration more than anything else. Exploring how students actually work. Exploring how colleges want to engage. Exploring how employers hire. Exploring how the gig world can be fair, verified and opportunity-driven.
We have spent these years understanding the student economy city by city, campus by campus, and job by job. Nothing in our journey has been overnight. It has always been one learning at a time, one breakthrough at a time, one day at a time.
In this period, we also raised multiple rounds of funding and took our story to a national stage through IdeaBaaz, which helped us bring TimbuckDo into homes across India and showcase the power of student talent.
Today, as co-founders, we continue to build with the same curiosity we started with. We are still learning, still experimenting and still discovering new possibilities within the student gig space.
Our journey is far from finished. If anything, we feel we are just getting started.
